Description

The beauty of July. Čačanska Lepotica lives up to its name — Lepotica means “the beauty”: large blue-violet fruit with firm, juicy, sweet flesh and a freestone pit — ideal both for eating and for the jars. Picked at the height of summer, 25 July – 5 August.

Fruit Medium-large, oval, blue-violet skin; freestone
Taste Very juicy, sweet, firm flesh
Harvest 25 July – 5 August
Pollination Self-fertile — fruits on its own; it's also an excellent pollinator for other plums, e.g. Čačanska Rana
Resistance To rust; sensitive to late spring frosts — avoid frost pockets
Cold hardiness Down to -29°C (USDA zone 4–9)
Uses Fresh, preserving, drying, rakia
Sapling Grafted on myrobalan; 80–130 cm tall; bare-root or container
Delivery 2–5 business days (Bulgaria); 4–7 days (Romania)

💡 Nursery tip: the trio of Rana + Lepotica + Rodna gives you plums without a break from July to September — and cross-pollination lifts the yield of all three.

🍑 What to expect: the first fruit usually comes in the 3rd–4th year after planting.
“Health & Bloom™” Guarantee — the sapling arrives carefully packed and ready to plant.
